SAFETY DURING YOUR VISIT

The castle, heavily damaged in World War II, is still undergoing renovation. Visitors are requested to follow safety instructions for their own safety and the preservations of this important cultural monument, Rihemberk Castle.

Visitors are requested to follow the signs and move only within the secured areas.

For safety reasons it is not allowed to remove or cross safety barriers.

It is not allowed to lean against and over the castle walls, safety barriers and similar elements.

It is not allowed to walk, climb, sit or similar on top of the walls or other parts of the castle where you can fall off.

It is not allowed to throw objects from the tower or other high parts of the castle.

Visitors are requested to behave with respect towards the cultural monument. You will be held liable for any damage caused intentionally or otherwise.

Movement within the area of the castle is at your own risk.

Interesting fact

The castle got its name from the Lords of Reiffenberg who built it roughly 8 centuries ago.
